ARTISTIC OPEN OFFICE HOURS

Artistic Open Office Hours are a chance for us to meet artists of all disciplines. Office Hours are for a free and open exchange of ideas, a space for us to learn about what you do and who you are—your experiences, visions and dreams as a person and as an artist —and begin the process of introducing ourselves and sharing our philosophies and practices. These meetings are not a time to evaluate work, and they’re not auditions or job interviews. Office Hours are a time when we can build community and cultivate new relationships intentionally and transparently.

Sign-ups are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority access given to Black artists, Indigenous artists, and artists of color.

If you have any questions, or you need to cancel for any reason, please email artistic@nytw.org. In order to make sure we’re able to fill each time, please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel. A waitlist is available when slots are filled, and by signing up for the waitlist you confirm that you could make that time if a spot becomes available.

DEVELOPMENT OPEN OFFICE HOURS

Each month, our Development department is offering complimentary 30-minute consultation calls to companies and artists in our community.

You can use the time to talk about fundraising strategies, giving levels and patron programs, annual appeal campaigns, grant writing, prospect research, special event advice, and board management. If you’re interested-or you know someone who would be–fill out our form by clicking here, and someone from the Development team will be in touch shortly.

In addition to these open office hours, we’ve begun a listserv to let individuals in our community know about funding opportunities as we find out about them. If you are interested in that kind of information, you can sign up by emailing JenniferB@nytw.org.
