After several fulfilling years as a full-time theater teacher, Brigitte is excited to return to her first love: acting. Her classroom experience has deepened her artistry and passion for storytelling, infusing her performances with renewed purpose and insight. She recently appeared in Medea in the Rewrite at EstroGenius 2025, Seven, and Dispatches from (a)mended America. Born in 1938 in South Carolina, Alex Harsley overcame childhood hardships and a strict religious upbringing before moving to New York City in 1948. There, he discovered photography and began documenting the urban landscape. A self-taught artist, he served in the Army and later became a pioneering color technician. In 1971, he founded Minority Photographers, Inc. and the 4th Street Photo Gallery, fostering a vibrant artistic community. Harsley’s work captures the evolving social, political, and cultural life of New York, blending documentary realism with experimental techniques. Jasmine A. Mitchell is a producer, director, and arts administrator focused on social change and community engagement. As an anti-racist theatre practitioner and woman of God, she is driven to produce work that creates space for Black women and marginalized groups to heal and be joyful. Jasmine is a proud descendant of immigrants from Dominica, and raised in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area — and has the ultimate foodie list to prove it. Jasmine is currently working as the Black Theatre Coalition Artistic Director Fellow at New York Theatre Workshop and with octopus Theatricals. Grammy award winning saxophonist Darryl Yokley came to New York in 2009 and has established himself as a unique artist who is always looking to connect with audiences. The son of an African-American father and a first generation Mexican mother, he relishes his diverse background and has developed a love for learning about and embracing the myriad of cultures around the world. Performing both classical and jazz has allowed Yokley the opportunity to perform in a number of musical contexts. He has performed for musical legend Quincy Jones as well as motown legends The Four Tops,The Temptations, The O’ Jays and singer-songwriter Rhonda Ross, Eddie Palmieri, Sean Jones, Orrin Evans, Nasheet Waits, Ralph Peterson, Jack Walrath, Frank Lacy, Valery Ponomarev, Broadway sensations Brandon Victor Dixon and Dez Duron and his own band, Sound Reformation. His most recent recording Un Mundo En Soledad was released on November 1st, 2024 in homage to Nobel prize winning author Gabriel Gárcia Márquez’s work, One Hundred Years of Solitude. Darryl has performed all over the world including The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, Wolf Trap, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art to name a few. He is currently playing on the Tony Award winning and Grammy nominated Broadway show, Hell’s Kitchen, a musical by Grammy Award winning singer and songwriter, Alicia Keys, and is still an active educator as well as runs his own record label, D-Yokes Records
Diggle is a proud Gay Mexican, Chicano scenic designer with Indigenous Mexica roots. Earlier this summer, he made his production design debut for Joel Perez’s short film Villa Encanto premiering at The Tribeca Film Festival within the Colectivo Filmmaker Program and most recently, for the stage, he designed Not About Nightingales directed by Robert O’Hara and produced by Williamstown Theatre Festival. In 2023, he was nominated by The Public Theater and won the Princess Grace Award. Ysabella Bhagroo is a video producer, editor, and storyteller with over a decade of experience in content creation, nonprofit media, and social advocacy. As Senior Video Editor at New York Theatre Workshop, she led the post production of this feature-length documentary, spotlighting historical luminaries and artists on New York’s Lower East Side. As a graduate of UW–Madison with a background in Life Science Communication and East Asian Studies, Ysabella brings a deep commitment to uplifting underrepresented voices and crafting emotionally resonant, community-centered narratives rooted in heritage, healing, and impact.
Hannah Sgambellone is a director, producer, and production manager. She is the Junior Producer for Fault Line Theatre and the Associate Production Manager for WP Theater.
