Walk on the Wild Side Tours NYC
Walk on the Wild Side Tours NYC is a New York-based walking tour company with a focus on the music, art, and counterculture of Downtown in the late 20th century. Owner and operator Jesse Rifkin is also the author of the acclaimed music history book This Must Be the Place: Music, Community and Vanished Spaces in New York City (Hanover Square Press, 2023).

Art on the Ave NYC is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to the elevation of local artists and the revitalization of vacant spaces. Their installations are designed to be interactive and engaging. Art on the Ave spotlights traditionally underrepresented artists by providing them with a platform to showcase their work.

BLACK BROADWAY MEN (also known as BBM) is a non-profit brotherhood service organization that utilizes social and educational opportunities to strengthen the bond of healing and unity for ALL Black men in both the Broadway and theatre community. BLACK BROADWAY MEN is the exclusive safe space for Black men in theatre to find the common thread of multi-generational education and brotherhood.

Poetic Theater Productions seeks to define the modern genre of “poetic theater” by connecting and fostering a community of artists who are passionately creating relevant and accessible work and reinvigorating a conscious theater of language. Poetic Theater Productions offers resources and opportunities for poets, playwrights, and theater artists to create new work and see it through to production via educational workshops, developmental readings and performance. PTP seeks out and creates opportunities to connect with communities affected by the issues of topic within our productions through collaborative projects and exchanges of art and ideas.

FABnyc is a team of artists and organizers working to preserve, sustain, and grow the cultural vibrancy of the Lower East Side neighborhood. FABnyc works in partnership with the community, bringing artists and arts strategies to: fight physical and cultural displacement, build collective power and collaboration, increase equity and access to cultural resources and public space, and support local resiliency and community health.
