The Young Defenders are NYTW’s next wave of supporters—a collective of curious, culture-hungry theatre-lovers who show up for art that takes risks, asks questions, and celebrates creative expression. Our Young Defenders are those who want more than just a night out at the theatre; they care deeply about what’s being made, who’s making it, and why it matters at this moment in time.  

Open to those 45 and under*, the Young Defenders enjoy a year-round calendar of curated events, behind-the-scenes opportunities, and special invitations, plus tickets to our mainstage productions. Grounded in community and connected by a passion for theatre, the Young Defenders is a pipeline to our Society of Repeat Defenders – a donor community for all ages.
