GREAT GRANNIE'S PLUM CAKE - Zara Devlin, actor (Sing Street)

"This recipe came from my great-great-grandmother, and my grandmother taught me how to make it. No one knows why it’s called ‘Plum Cake’, as there are no plums in it and it’s not a cake - it’s bread! It is one of the most beautiful breads I’ve ever tasted. It’s beautiful in the colder months with Irish butter and jam and a cup of tea."
